What Do Severe Cramps In The Right Foot Indicate?

Hi. I had a severe cramping in my right foot when in bed that did not go away even when I got up to try and stretch. Eventually the pain subsided and I went to sleep. The next morning I had deep bruising on the side of my foot and it felt like I had rolled my ankle. The bruising and swelling is slowly going away. I have been icing my foot which is helping. Cramping in both feet and legs has been going on periodically the last couple months. What could this mean?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are having cramping in leg and in feet.

So here history about trauma to leg should be ruled out.

By muscular strain also cramp and bruise can occur.
For that ibuprofen 200 mg BD for five days can be prescribed

If bruise in calf than USG scan needed to do further work up.

Local part x ray also should be done

Hope this will help you

Take care

Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and discuss your case
