Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I’m a 58 yr old woman and am having stomach cramps pretty painful no other symptoms. Don’t think it’s something I ate, had same food in last two meals as my husband and he’s fine. Am worried about heart attack risk...What would be reason to go get checked if only symptom is the stomach cramps? Myra@

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
If your husband is okay, it does not mean that you do not have a gut problem. Please visit the emergency. You need antibiotics as tablet levofloxacin and metronidazole as these are prescription drugs. Please contact your local doctor he will prescribe these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
