What Do Severe Fatigue And Excessive Sleepiness Indicate?
Hi, thanks for your service. I am 48years old female. For about a few month, I feel extremely tired and very sleepy , and most importantly I feel extremely hungry and eat a lot. I cannot get up early in the morning nowadays. I was very diligent and used to get up before 5 in the morning but now i can t . During night and day I feel constantly tired and hungry. What should I do? It seems to start after my husband passed away eight month ago.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Your all symptoms are more suggestive of depression with post Menopausal syndrome. Death of near one (husband) is always traumatic. You are also going through menopause. So this have added depressive effect more. So consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. You may need antidepressants. Also consult gynecologist and get done hormone levels. You may need hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
