What Do Severe Pain In The Abdomen And Nausea Indicate?
I went to urgent care the other day from constant stomach pain and nausea but no vomiting. I sure felt like I was going to vomit but I couldn t. After the GI cocktail they gave me along with IV fluids I felt much better.they contacted me the next day saying that my lipase levels were about 700, and that I should follow up with a primary doctor. Saying it could be a sign of an ulcer. I guess I m looking for advice on what to expect now. The last 2 days my stomach has still been very uneasy, and I ve been feeling very weak.
Thanks for asking HCM Causes of high lipase include 1. Pancreatitis 2. Gall bladder stones or inflammation. 3. kidney problems. 4. increased weight. 5. increased triglyceride level. 6. increase consumption of alcohol. 7. family history of pancreatitis. Normal rage of lipase is bet 0-160. You have a high level of lipase cuase of which should be evaluated. Please meet your family doctor to guide you further. THANKS.
