What Do Slightly Low WBC, Low Neutrophils And High Monocytes In A Child Suggest?

my son had a cbc with differential today. He turned 5 yesterday. His results show a slightly low WBC (5.2), hemoglobin (11), hematocrit (32.6), MCV (74.8). It also showed low neutrophils (33.2) and high monocytes (8.5) I have read that some of these may be signs of anemia but the moncytes are not typically identified as such. Is it worth calling the doctor in the morning or should I wait for them to call me?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, routine blood test always be done for to correlate with clinical condition else this has got no role because most of the time this shows normal ranges, so this need to be correlate with the clinical condition for what the test being done, (Most of the time users just gives the test results and do not mentioned the disease conditions for what the test was done which is not the right method to have the advise) hope this information helps, take care.
