What Do Slurry Speech And Loss Of Balance In An Elderly Person Indicate?

My wife is fifty and her doctor said she was low on b12 so she takes 5000mga day. When she wakes up and thru the day she is fine but around dinner time she starts slurring her words and her balance is off and her short term memory is bad and does not act her self.

Hello,

Slurring of speech and loss of balance in an elderly usually indicate cerebellar disorders... might be at this age commonly a cerebrovascular accident... might be due to any hypertension or diabetes. If not, also get one CT scan brain done once and consult neurologist once.
