What Do Small Bumps Around The Genital Area Indicate?
Hi I’m a 21 year old young man having problems in the genital area with small bumps one being on the shaft and some on the scrotum. I initially thought it was herpes but they don’t hurt, i do itch down there on my scrotum. I haven’t had unprotected sex since April of 2017 and these appeared about 3 weeks ago to a month. I also have a bad case of athletes foot and have been recognizing me to use the same wash cloth at times and the same drying towel i do for my feet. I also have pictures if you’d like to take a look and get a better idea.
Your symptoms are seen to be related to HPV infection. Some advices that I can give to you are: -Use Imiquimod (Aldara, Zyclara). This cream boosts your immune system's ability to fight genital warts. -Use Condylox. -Apple cider vinegar may treat genital warts at home. -Visit an andrologist to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
