What Do Small Bumps Below The Hairline Indicate?
Over the last three days I ve had three bumps appear on the back of my head, all about the size of a pea. The first was just below the hair line; the second was just above the hairline; and the third was halfway to my crown, above my ear. All are on the right side of the back of my head. They re tender; there s no redness nor head nor dot in the center (like a bite.) I have a bit of a sore throat and feel a little run down, which isn t inconsistent with allergy symptoms that I sometimes get.

hi sir/mam,those small bumps may be due to :
1)lymph node enlargement due to sore throat
2)dandruff also causes such painful bumps
3)any lice infestations of scalp
treatment depends on the cause.sore throat associated with fever can be treated with tab.azithromycin 500mg daily once for 3days.
for dandruff,ketoconazole shampoo weekly thrice shower would help.
for lice infestations,permethrin 1% lotion is to be applied to hair after shampoo and let it remain not more than 10 min.rise the hair and towel dry.
