Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi this morning a had a small area about the size of a nickel that was raised and a little bumpy. Also reddish in that area. The area is in my back along the outer edge about 6 inches below the top of my shoulder. This afternoon the bumps appear to be almost blistery. Not sure what it is if how to treat.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bumps on the back which could be due to blockage of sebaceous glands as back has rich number of sebaceous glands and it gets filled with dust, sebum.
Need not to worry. You should rinse the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice a day. Apply topical antibiotic cream such as neosprin 2% on it. take a course of antibiotic Tablet. Take a course of Amoxacillin with Clavulenic acid twice a day for 5 days. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
