What Do Small Bumps On The Back Of An Infant Indicate?
Dear Doctors, My Baby boy 7 months old has developed small eruptions over the back and back side of leg.It keeps on changing places and are sporadically spread over the body. The doctor has suggested a medicine, Atarax 8 drops two times a day.Is this sufficient enough to cure the problem as i am not seeing any changes to the baby after 4 days of consumption. Shall i wait for more time to heal or what should i do?
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It could be something called Pink pimples ('neonatal acne') . No treatment is needed, just time. They can last for weeks and gradually resolve with time. You can apply alovera baby lotion for faster recovery. If it last fore more than two weeks you can consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
