Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I commonly have a patch of goosebumps on my left boob, on the top right side above the nipple. I googled all I could about these bumps, and everyone who also experiences only has them on their legs and arms. I do have high anxiety. I did read something that it could have something to do with thyroid, which my grandmas on both sides have thyroid problems as well.
A clinical assessment of the goosebumps on your breast is required to assess the exact nature of these lesions.
It appears from your description that the goosebumps are located superficially in skin only. Whether these lesions are associated with hypothyroidism can be assessed after clinical assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
