What Do Small Bumps On The Head Indicate?

I have several bumps on my head that feel like bruises when I touch them, one on either side of my forehead, small like a marble, but I can see them, two above my ears - one on either side - that hurt when rubbed. What could they possibly be? I ve only had them the last few weeks.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It can be an allergic reaction to the shampoo you might have used or anything which you might have tried recently or any food or drugs or any kind of an allergen.

So, kindly rethink of what could be causing you these problems and stop the allergen.

If you couldn't notice what is it, at least you can try any antihistaminic for 3 to 5 days like cetirizine, levocetirizine, etcetera and you will be symotom free.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
