What Do Small Red Bumps With Pus On Arms And Chest Indicate?

My daughter has little red bumps with puss on her arms and chest. She is 23 years old and went on a trip to Dallas, TX. She was outside most of the time. After a few days home, she noticed little red bumps and then it turned into pus. She popped a couple and now it itches.

Hello

The most common cause of these pustules in this age is acne. The blockage of the skin pores with oil and dead skin cells leads to acne. This causes patches of skin to bulge and if infected, resulting in pustules. These contain pus.
