What Do Small, White Spots On Inner Thighs And Upper Arms Suggest?
Hi I have been noticing small white spots on my inner thighs and upper arms I have been craving and eating ice like crazy and the first three days of my menstrual period It is very heavy and dark blood I just turned 52 yrs. old what is going on with me ? and I am Anemic.
Hello, I feel the white spots are because of anemia. Since you have heavy bleeding even at 52 years and crave ice this means you have iron deficiency. Also, white spots can occur on body due to vitamin B 12 deficiency. If had these symptoms i would start taking vitamin B12 and iron supplements right away to treat this anemia. You should also maintain a good diet, eat red meat, dark green vegetables and stay hydrated.
Also in my opinion, for the heavy bleeding, get a an ultrasound done and get it checked by your gynecologist to make sure you don't have any fibroids. Because if you keep taking supplements but your bleeding doesn’t decrease then you will continue to loose iron.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
