What Do Sudden Spell Of Dizziness, Sweat And Chills Suggest?

I just got up from a chair and had a sudden spell of dizziness, weakness, instant sweat and then chills. My husband was talking to me, I could hear him but didn t respond. Never had anything like this before. Scared him to death. Freaked me out a little too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,

this can be caused by low blood pressure due to the fast motion from sitting to standing. Depending on your age and other possible medical conditions you should see a gp to measure your blood pressure, write an ekg for an orientation of your heart function, do a routine blood scan and do a full body examination to narrow down possible reasons. With more precise information on your overall medical condition, there is high chance he will find a reason for it and suggest helpful treatment. Hope you get better soon, if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
