What Do Swelling And Itching On The Right Hand Indicate?
the top of my right hand is swollen and purple. Yesterday my hand started itching and when I looked at it, there was a small red dot and it turned purple. The color is uniform and somewhat warm to the touch. It is a little tender, but now I notice it is covering a larger portion of my hand and seems to be migrating to my wrist. I can see a vein protruding to the left of the swollen area.

Skin problem are difficult to understand without seeing that, what I can understand is that if there is some sort of infection in your skin what we called cellulitis. That is warm and tender. If this is spreading I would advise you should see your doctor urgently so to see if this is really cellulitis, to start antibiotics earlier.
