What Do Swelling And Tingling Sensation In The Fingers Indicate?

Hello, I severely burned my fingers about 2 years ago with hot glue. I was not treated medically. I was cooking this Christmas weekend and they were exposed to hot pans and steam. I woke up today and they are swollen and tingly and Very sensitive to any touch. This is not the first time this has happened since the burns. The fingers will eventually blister and peel. Is this increased sensitivity from the initial burns? It has been a couple of years since the first incident. Can I expect this to continue when exposed to moderate kitchen heat?

hi mam/sir, your guess might be right that there is increased sensitivity post burns.please try the below instructions :
1)moisturisation is of prime importance.never allow your fingers go dry.good moisturizer like cetaphil lotion would help.
2)please do wear a pair of thick rubber(good quality ones that doesnt melt with heat) gloves while cooking and also exposure to high temperatures.
3)also avoid sun exposure by wearing fabric gloves.
4)whenever blisters arise,apply topical silver sufadiazine cream.
5)avoid smoking
6)balanced diet promotes healing.
