What Do Swelling And Warm Sensation On The Hand Indicate?

Had a cubical infection on forefinger. Treat d it with epsom salt soak and neosporan. It has almost gone but today my hand has a red spotted look under the skin. There was slight swelling when I awoke but it s gone. The redness is fading and there was no pain attached. My hand is slightly warm. Could this be related to the finger and should I wait to see if it clears or go have it checked. Definitely improved since this morning

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There are many possibilities for hand swelling that can be easily excluded by routine examinations including Infection, allergy and Rheumatoid arthritis. So, you need to do a clinical assessment at the nearest medical center.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
