What Do Swelling With Clear Mucousy Discharge From Eyes Suggest?

I'm a 37 yr old female & have been experiencing eye problems for more than 5 years now. In the evening they swell & constantly produce a clear mucous type substance which I clean out every half hour to an hr daily. I have been to 2 Medical Eye Doctors here in Colorado but neither one of them knew what was wrong, remember using Steroid eye drops for 7 days but it didn't work!



Can you please help me?

it is infectious either bacteria or viral. it can be allergic infestation. to have proper diagnosis an eye doctor should examine your eye. the complain is so old, it appears to be chronic. can go for culture and sensitivity of eye discharge. can use the recommended anti biotic. clean your eye with sterile swab.
