What Do Swollen And Red Lymph Nodes Under The Armpits Indicate?
My husband has had swollen and red lymph nodes under his armpits for a couple of weeks that are tender, swollen lymph node ( I think on his elbow) It s the size of pea, We didn t realize it may be a lymph node until I looked up an illustration of lymph nodes. I have also noticed a dozen or more small red spots on his chest that look like blood under his skin, almost like a blood blister. Would those be related to each other?
Lymph nodes and skin rash can be related to one another. He will need to have a check with his doctor to determine the cause of both of these symptoms. The doctor may need to examine other areas for the presence of lymph nodes and also may need to do a thorough physical examination. Sometimes tests and other examinations may be needed as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
