What Do Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Groin Area Indicate?
56 yo healthy male. Flu like s/ for 3 weeks. Last week went to ER diagnosed with Epstein bar and cat scratch fever. Treated with zithromycin for 5 days. CAT scan cleat except for noted lymph nodes swollen in groin. Now..... just finished z pack yesterday and groin lymph nodes very tender rock hard and very enlarged. Skin on top of node is now reddened. Should we go to ER?
