Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am now 20. I had the kikuchi s disease about a year and a half ago. At that time, I did a biopsy and confirmed the disease. These days, I am not sure it s recurring or not but I have very tiny nodes swelling at the side of my neck. And have mild fever which goes away when under medication. I am so worried if it s coming back. If so, can I prevent it from happening? And how? What food or vitamins are helpful to boost my immune system. Please help.
Kikuchi's disease can recur and it can cause symptoms of fever and pain. I suggest you to stay in touch with your physician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
