What Do Tender Breasts, Nausea, Cramps And Mood Swings With Delayed Periods Suggest?
Hi , my name is brianna and I am 19. For the past 2 weeks I have been feeling a little off -- My breast have been extremely tender, I m nauseous only in car rides (never has happened before), I very been super emotional and crying over all things, my body is aching and right now i m quite chilly even though my temp is 98.1. Also I have been super cramps and have had some bad aches earlier last week. I took a pregnancy test on Friday but it came back negative--last month on this day I started my cycle but today it didn t start. I m worried that I might be though . do you think it would be best to go visit a doctor ?
Tenderness of breast can occur before onset of periods known as mastalgia or it can also occur in cystic changes in breast. I suggest you to consult a surgeon for clinical assessment and mammography if required. Fine needle aspiration of breasts may be required if indicated on mammography. If no such changes detected, mastalgia can be managed with pain killers and / or breast strapping.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
