What Do The Findings In Spinal X-ray Suggest?

Hi , my xray report shows the following :
Straightening of lumbar curve denoting muscle spasm
Minimal retrolisthesis of L5 over S1 with mild L5-S1 disc space narrowing
No localized osteolyric or sclerotic lesion
Noabnormal paraspinal soft tissue shadow

Would u plz tell me what is that means ?

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The muscles of the lower back are in a state of spasm and not able to relax. This is causing you pain. There is also slight misalignment between L 5 and S 1 vertebrae and this can be causing disc compression and herniation which leads to symptoms of nerve root compression and subsequent pain. As this is minimal you do not have to get worried. Please take rest for few days.
