I don t know which method uesd during HIV test in our country... the test result is given below HIV(1&2) test sample rate 0.09 cut off rate 1.00 opinion : Negative which hiv test method used here...??
there are 2 methods used for HIV testing ELISA ( enzyme linked immuno sorbent assey) and WESTERN BLOT test and there are hiv titers they are all good in terms of sensitivity of testing
since you are negative after 3 months there is nothing to worry what you might have encountered is a urinary tract infection, which must be normal now
if you are still in doubt get a baseline titre of HIV done and use that as a reference whenever you need an hiv in future it’s the most reliable test
feel free to ask any question
