Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do The Following Chest CT Scan Reports Indicate?
Hi, i have gone through the CT chest scan and it has diagnose a tiny focal hypodensity measuring 7mm in segment 8 of the liver likely represents a cyst And a small subpleural nodule in the left apex posteriorly is likely related to a small fibrotic band. A small 10mm subpleural pneumatocele is seen in the posterior segment of the left upper lobe adjacent to the major fissure Please guide
It shows a small hepatic space occupying lesion which might be a hepatic cyst or a fibrous band. Hepatic cysts are quite common in general population. If you have clinical symptoms, you may need a hepatologist opinion, liver function tests or CT guided biopsy. Avoid fatty meals and alcohol.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
