What Do The Following Mammography Results Indicate?
what does this mean: findings on mammogram; small scattered nodular asymmetries are noted bilaterally, with a more discrete nodule noted in the posterior central right breast seen best on CC projections.recommended for Bilateral Breast Sonography/ diagnostic mammography.
As the assymetrical nodule is seen it is recommended to investigate further with sonography. And biopsy should be done for histopathological examination.
In histopathological examination if malignancy comes then further aggressive treatment is needed.
Hope this solves your concern.
You can consult your general surgeon for further examination and to discuss your case further.
Take care
