Sir I have check my abdomen report and i find in report: left overy a well defined hypoephoic cyscic lesion measuring 5.4 *4.3*6.3 c.m in size is seen in left adnexa with hetro genious echogenic contents with multiple linear echogenic strands with dense internal echoes and echogenic material in dependent part. ? dermoidsyst ?? indometrioma . advice: CECT lower abdomen
what the test report states is that you have a cyst in your left public area with the state of measurements. Hypoechoic means it is most likely fluid filled because it is darker in color on the exam. but six is hetero genius, which means that it is not totally fluid filled, but there are also other solid materials (I.e. fibrous, etc) within this fluid filled cyst, in the shape of strands, and so forth. they are suspecting it might be a dermoid cyst, which is the type of thing usually benign cyst that women commonly gets. it might also be endometriosis, where the endometrial tissue, or the tissue inside your uterus that bleeds every month when you have your period, is in the wrong location, i.e. outside of the uterus in the abdomen or ovary areas. they suggest you get further imaging to find out what it is exactly.
