Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do The Following Ultrasound Results Indicate?
my results read as follows ; The uterus is normal in size and measures 6.8x6.7x5.9cm myometrical echopattern is homogeneous with no mass lession seen. The endometrium is hyperechoic and thickened has a full thickness of 27.7mm The cervix is intact the psterior cul-de-sac is intact
Your uterine inner layer is much thicker than the normal range (normal range is under 11 mm). In this case, a D&C is needed to scrape the inner layer of the womb and take materials for biopsy to determine if this is simple hyperplasia or malignant changes are present.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
