General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your uterine inner layer is much thicker than the normal range (normal range is under 11 mm).
In this case, a D&C is needed to scrape the inner layer of the womb and take materials for biopsy to determine if this is simple hyperplasia or malignant changes are present.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
