Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do The Hard, Raised Bumps On My Left Hand Indicate?
i keep getting hard, raised bumps on my left hand that seem to worsen when the weather gets hotter. the bumps seem to appear in same spot, and only on left hand. when squeezed I can get a white pusslike fluid to come out, and other times just a clear liquid. hand and fingers will also swell up. eventually bumps will go away, only to appear again at another time..but always the left hand and same areas of that hand
I think it is 'Bulla', small blisters or fluid filled sac or lesion, appears a fluid is trapped under a thin layer of skin. Usually bullae will heal its own. But it is important to see your doctor if the area is painful or restricts your movement, or bullae contain blood. If you have circulatory issues or diabetes. These conditions increase the risk of your bullae getting infected. Don't try to burst or pop your blisters on your own, it is risk to allowing bacteria in to the wounds and this can leads to an infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anjana, Ayurveda Specialist
