What Do The Presence Of WBC And Bacteria In Urine Signify?

I m a 42-year-old, healthy, active male and my doctor is referring me to a urologist, because I have white blood cells and bacteria in my urine (this is after taking an antibiotic for 7 days). What are the possible conditions for which they will be looking?

Thanks for asking me this question.

You mention In your cheif complain that in urine wbc and bacteria is present.
Presence of wbc In urine indicate urinary tract infection.

So your doctor started antibiotics to cure urinary infection.Do Culture sensitive to check out antibiotic that work or not.
After taking antibiotic it not regress than chanses of other problems also.

In prostate problem case repeated urinary tract infection occurs.Check your PSA level for prostate problem.

Check you blood sugar also .In diabitic case chances of infection is more.
