What Do The Presence Of Pulmonary Nodule In The Below Scan Report Suggest?
I just got my CT results. What does this mean? HISTORY: R91.1 SOLITARY RIGHT lower lobe PULMONARY NODULE FINDINGS:Heart/pericardium: Normal.Aorta and pulmonary vessels: Normal.Mediastinum and hilum: Normal.Lungs: The lungs are hyperaerated. There is curvilinear scarring or segmental platelike atelectasis in the RIGHT middle lobe and RIGHT upper lobe.. There is a 6 mm noncalcified pleural-based nodule posteriorly in the lower RIGHT thorax. This probably represents a lymph node.Pleural space: Normal.

There are emphysematous changes in lungs. There is a nodule and its nature should be ascertained by further tests like biopsy.
