What Do These WBC Count And X-ray Report Indicate?

Hi, I was about to have my pre-employment medical exam when they found out that I 19.7 WBC count and neutrophils count is 1 number ahead of the normal values. I also had my xray and found out that there is this suspicious apical right densities. I m quite scared. What could it be? I am not experiencing fever or anything. I feel normal. My doctor prescribed me antibiotics as of this moment, I am taking them.

Hi,

The density could be due to past infection. For that you can complete the course of antibiotic. Your total WBC count is high and that also in favor of infection. After completing antibiotic course, repeat your CBC and X-ray.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
