What Do These Abdominal Ultrasound Test Results Indicate?

* Gallbladder is moderately distended and filled with copious amount of sludge as well as multiple non-mobile calcului individual calculus is about 6 to 8 mm in size. CBD at porta measures 2.7 mm. * Liver shows uniform steatosis,span is 16.7 cm. No evidence of SOL seen. * Bilateral renal calculi are seen. Between two to four calculi are seen per kidney minus significant hydronephrosis. Individual calculus is about 6 to 7.3 mm in size. *Postmenopausal uterus/ovaries are seen. Former shows multiple heavily calcified fibroid masses throughout the myometrium varying between 2 to 4 cm in size each. This was the result of an abdominal ultrasound. Can you explain what it all means?

Hi,

Kindly meet. physician and a gynecologist, inform if you have any symptoms of pain abdomen, vomiting, bloating sensation or any other symptoms.

Let them examine you and then can come to a conclusion of what to be done.

Just reading the report suggests you have gallbladder stones with lots of sludge which may result in problem in future if you are diabetic.

Uterus with fibroids is common in females and if calcified will be hard to feel when examined.

If it is symptomatic then only any intervention or else nothing to be done. stones in both the kidney suggests not hydrating the body well daily. minimum 2-3 laters required.

If they are symptomatic then treatment required. if the stones pass out of kidney into the tubes may cause pain abdomen and may need treatment.

Since no hydronephrosis, no surgery required for kidney stones as of now.

But you need to meet a gynecologist, a urologist and a physician/Surgeon and need to get evaluated.
