Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do These Following Serum Estradiol, Progesterone And LH Levels Indicate?
I m 36 and have been experiencing more intense headaches that have been lasting more days around time of my period. I ve also had cramps which I haven t had since I was a teenager, more emotional, and tired all the time. My doctor drew my hormone levels and they were estrogen 567, progesterone 0.5ng/dl and LH was 14.2 mlU/ml. Are these normal levels?
Your Hormone levels are not normal & you require treatment. Hormonal imbalances may occur due to diabetes, thyroid issue, eating disorders, weight, stress, etc.
Visit your gyne & get physically examined for the cause. Your treatment will depend upon the factor detected.
Your treating doctor may tell you to go through a series of blood tests & Imaging tests. For cramps & headaches take analgesics, antacids & spasmol when required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
