What Do These Urinalysis Test Results Indicate?

Good day. Last 24 June 2016, I had a urinalysis test results are as follows: Color Yellow, Transparency Clear, pH 7.0, Specific gravity 1.001, Glucose Negative, Protein Negative, Ketones Negative, Nitirtes Negative, Leucocytes Esterases Negative, Blood Negative, Bilirubin Negative, Urobilinogen Negative, RBC 0, WBC 0, Epithelial cells 0, Bacteria 1, Crystals None, Casts None. After 3 days, my urologist asked me to repeat the urinalysis, with overnight fasting, because according to him, the Specific Gravity is L. So I had urinalysis test again on 27 June 2016 morning time after an overnight fasting; the results are as follows: : Color Yellow, Transparency Clear, pH 7.0, Specific gravity 1.009, Glucose Negative, Protein Negative, Ketones Negative, Nitirtes Negative, Leucocytes Esterases Negative, Blood Negative, Bilirubin Negative, Urobilinogen Negative, RBC 3, WBC 1, Epithelial cells 0, Bacteria 1, Crystals None, Casts None. There is a change to RBC 3 and WBC 1 values. What does this mean? Good day, Jerry C.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As you have pointed out,the only change in both the reports is the RBC and WBC values. Upto 5 cells of RBC and WBC is considered normal in a urine analysis report. Hence, continue the similar treatment suggested by your physician. There is nothing to worry.

Hope that was helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
