What Do Thin Abdominal Wall Muscles In CT Scan Indicate?

I had. A CT done on Tuesday my results are abdominal wall muscles are thin underneath my rib cage to my bellybutton (I have a huge bulge all the way from underneath my rib cage to my bellybutton) and an umbilical hernia. What needs to be done to repair these? The thinning abdominal wall muscles really bother me its constantly sore and I always feel bloated

I understand your concern.
CT scan report tells that you have umbilical hernia and weakness in abdominal muscles.
The best treatment would be to go for surgical correction in the form of 'herniorraphy'. This would ensure that your hernia is removed and abdominal wall is repaired by providing a mesh, which would strengthen your weak abdominal wall.
Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for proper evaluation and management.
