What Do Vomiting, Headache And Diarrhea Post Exposure To Sun Suggest?
yesterday i was out in the sun in phoenix, az (very hot) for about half an hour. when i can in i laid down for a while under a fan, but when i got up i had vomiting and then my head felt like it was going to explode. later i had more vomiting and very bad diarreha. looking for a diagnosis.
The symptoms suggest you might have got heat stroke. It happens sometimes due to heat exhaustion. Drink plenty of fluids like fruit juices and tender coconut. Replinish electrolytes by drinking WHO recommended ORS at least twice a day for next 3 days. Keep well hydrated and take Luke warm water bath. Stay in shade / cool place and avoid direct exposure to sun particularly between 10 am to 4 pm. In next 3 days following the above, you should be back to normal.
