What Do White Bumps On Gums After Tooth Extraction Indicate?

I had a front tooth extracted two weeks ago. The dentist found a small fungus at the base of the tooth and recommended to use Nystatin. Two weeks later, I see a white small bump at the site of tooth extraction. Does not hurt. What is it? Please advise.
