Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 24 think I have oral cancer my lip had a blister that was painful but got better but still left a reddish mark dentist said it was fine but now over the past week my tongue has lost its shape at the side is white and bumps and feels so dry what could this be ?
Well, first of all do not worry about Oral Cancer, because oral cancer lesions are non healing and does not get better.
Your ulcer is healed significantly, so there is no need to think of cancer at all..
White appearance and bumps on tongue can be due to swollen tongue papillae or canker sores..
Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated.
For now start taking Vitamin B complex supplement. Do warm saline gargles..chew sugar free chewing gum for stimulating saliva flow and reduce dryness..
Please send images of your tongue so that I can have a view and advise you more appropriate treatment..
Hope you get better soon..
Wish you good health and prosperity..
Regards..
