Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having oral problem. There has been white patches inside my mouth. My tooth are aching badly for last 4/5 days. I am not able to chew or move my face. There are two holes can be seen which are not so deep. I am afraid what am I going through actually?
As per your complain it seems that white patches can be due to causes such as excessive keratin deposits like frictional keratosis or leukoplakia. It needs to be evaluated for confirmation of the exact cause by a biopsy and then only a proper treatment can be advised.
As of now start taking multivitamin supplements. Secondly tooth pain can be due to deep tooth decay and you need to get an x ray of tooth done for ruling out the exact cause and severity of decay. Either root canal treatment or extraction followed by antibiotics and painkillers will provide permanent relief. Small craters or holes can be due to ulcers in mouth. For this start gargling with numbing mouthwash containing lignocaine, avoid spicy and hard foods and do cool water rinses and suck ice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
