What Do White Patches On Tonsils After Oral Intercourse Indicate?
Hi, I had sex a few days ago and we used protection, I also gave oral to him. Two days later and now I have these white patches on my tonsils and when I tried to take them off with my finger, my tonsils started bleeding and I m freaking out bad. It doesn t hurt. I don t have a fever. I just felt something in my throat and I looked at my tonsils using a flashlight and my tonsils had white pus-like stuff on both of the tonsils.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What white patches you have noticed after having oral sex could be due to inflammation of tonsils. Nothing to worry about it much as you can overcome it by undertaking the following measures. 1. Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily. 2. Take decongestant medication in the form of syrup. 3. Use medicated lozanges to soothen the throat. 4. Use regularly Chlorhexidine mouth wash to maintain good oral hygiene. Gradually, your symptoms should subside and be back to normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
