Hello, From your query i understood that your child is suffering from superficial fungal skin infection called Tinea versicolor. You are mentioning the hypo pigmentaion as Paleness. If possible please do the complete blood investigation. Because Tinea commonly occur in patients with systemic diseases or immuno compromised persons. This is most commonly caused by M furfur fungus. It can be easily treated, and skin color alterations usually resolve within a few months of treatment. It does not leave any permanent scars or pigment changes. Topical Anti-fungal Selenium sulfide shampoo or lotion or Clotrimazole is the usual treatment. Good personal hygiene may help limit recurrences. Specifically, she should shower as soon as possible after participating in activities or exercise that produce significant perspiration.
Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
