Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do You Suggest For A Red Line On My Baby's Face That Went Away In Ten Minnutes?
Hi, My baby is 3.5 months old and is very irritable the last couple days, when he eats his sucks the bottle for a minute then spits it out but still wants it and does this a couple times, also he has one ear temp of 94 and the other of 98.7 he's not pulling them (probably because he's just learning to grab at things) but he will let you touch it for literally a second then turns away. Last but not least, earlier he had a red line from his ear to the bottom of his face, went across his lips and then up over his eye and then within ten minutes went away. New mom looking for answers or a least a guide to some.
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
Get your baby examined by your doctor once. I could not understand what that line was based on your description. Please record the temperature once again so that you can be sure that the thermometer is working ok. Please try that on some other individual.
