What Do You Suggest For A Skip In My Heart Beat?

I have A-Fib and under meds for this condition. Last week I saw my Cardiologist for a follow up apt. and he said he hears a "skip" in my heart beat. Not related to the A-Fib, according to what I remember he said. I asked what should I do and he said to let him know if I have continued "skips". I did not know I had A-Fib until my blood pressure went sky high and this was discovered. I do not "feel" the skips and don't know what I should be looking for. I have been worrying about this since the apt. Thank you for your response. Kay

Dear sir

A skipped heart beat is due to complete blockage of impulse from sinoatrial node to atrioventricular node leading to skipped beat.

It is very dangerous phenomenon, needs immediate attention and treatment as it may cause fibrillations and tachycardia.

the most common clinical sign is syncopal attacks and dizziness.

Pacemaker implantation is the ultimate treatment.

Consult your cardiologist.

Thanks
