What Do You Suggest For A Skull Fracture After An Accident?

My adult son had a brain tumor (epyndamoma) and crainiotomy in 2010 then was in a motorcycle accident the end of November 2013 he had deficits due to the tumor then due to the accident he now has a severe tbi w/skull fracture. Both temporal lobes are involved. He was hospitalized for 53 days and in that time period saw a neurologist 1 time. He is currently seeing an internist however I am very concerned and feel that he needs to be evaluated further. We live in Oregon and I can t seem to find a doctor with any experience with TBI. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Most of the skull fractures heal on their own if these are undisplaced fractures. The CT scan needs a look to comment on the extent of damage that is present.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
