What Do You Suggest For A Swollen And A Sore Tongue After Kissing My Boyfiend Who Had Full Blow AIDS?
Hi, I tongue kissed a former boyfriend , as well as kiss and suck him. He has varying blood counts but certainly has had full blow AIDS. Now, as usual when were dating, my tongue is sore. It is also swollen. my guess is thrush. Have used Nystatin? What do you think.

It would be very difficult to get thrush from him. He gets thrush because his immune system does not work well. Assuming your immune system is normal, you should not get thrush because you can fight it off. However, if you have some white patches in your mouth it may be that you have it for some other reason. Nystatin swish and swallow would be the best treatment for you in that case. It wouldn't hurt if you wanted to try a course of Nystatin.
