What Do You Suggest For A Tumor?

I had a sonagram at xra in Cranston RI. I was feeling I ll at the time. Went to Dr Lentrichia in Johnston and he informed me that the tuma is about the size of a dime and feels that it is most likely nothing to worry about. I have been back to him due to still feeling I ll and he sent me to Dr Moultan on Randall Sq in Prov. He looked at me and told me to wait 2 months and he then may do a biopsy. I have had a cat scan and it is still active it feels like its moving in other areas of my body. I had to go through hoops to get the insurance company to approve the scan. I waited 5 weeks to approval. If I am seriously I ll I am struggling. My insurance is quite limited. I am on medicare plus blue cross advantage. I am 63 yes old, 5 children, 4 grandchildren.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
This depends if this a malignant or benign tumor. Surgical removal, chemotherapy, hormone therapy and radiology are key management options. A proper clinical review, and at times the opinion of the oncologist remain key features in patient care. Kind regards
