General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Thankyou for contacting HCM.

I have gone through your report and there appears to be a narrowing at level C5-C6 involving the spinal cord and also the nerves which are exiting the spinal canal at this level. The most important thing to consider is the overall clinical picture like pain in the limbs, numbness/ loss of sensation.....if significant symptoms are present then i would recommend that you consult your local physician for further treatment accordingly. Otherwise physiotherapy will be of considerable help.

I hope this answers your query. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Anil Parth Desai's  Response
Hi I did review your concern.
Your neck MRI is suggestive of cervical spondylitis which is a degenerative condition of spine that occurs in many people with age due to loss of water content from vertebrae and bony degeneration. What this causes is neck pain and compression of spinal cord and nerve roots causing shooting pain down the arms and tingling and numbness sensation.
Your MRI shows this condition in advance stage with stenosis of foramen that contains spinal cord. so if you are having problems like weakness in your arms or legs and pain over it or loss of sensation it is significant and due to this condition.
Enlargment of cervical nodes is seen but I would recommend if it is enlarged for more than a week and you can feel it from outside a biopsy is adviced or a fine needle aspiration cytology is adviced.
I hope this helps.
Wish you all the best.
