Hello,
The X-ray report with hyperaeration of both lungs indicate pathology with some sort of bacterial infection or others involving lower lung fields both sides and that requires detailed evaluation for the cause and management accordingly. In my clinic, I thoroughly assess the patient with:
- Auscultation of lung sounds and air entry extent both lungs upper, middle and lower zones
- Identifying any adventitious sounds as crackles, wheeze or others indicative of
bronchospasm, fluid collection or others
- Pulmonary function test, complete hemogram with WBC total and differential count, ESR and supportive facts
Home care is best with deep breathing exercises and
YOGA to help the condition recover earliest in smooth fashion. Do regular consulting follow up with your doc for current issue which requires prescription of good antibiotics covering respiratory pathogens as
Moxifloxacin or else, bronchi dilator as
deriphyllin and supportive care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
